# Lear

> Lear is an AI engineer that stays on call inside a team's own infrastructure. When something breaks, it checks the signals and recent changes, proposes a recovery plan, waits for a person to approve it, acts only within the permissions it was granted, and verifies the system recovered. It is made by Drufiy AI Private Limited.

Key facts:

- Lear runs in the customer's environment (their cluster or VM). Credentials stay in the customer's secret store and are used in place; nothing routes back to Drufiy.
- Every response follows six states in the same order: Observe, Diagnose, Plan, Approve, Act, Verify.
- Lear starts read-only. Any change waits for a person to approve the exact plan. It ships in the "ask" permission mode, and every action is appended to an audit trail.
- Pricing: the read-only trial is free. After that, Lear bills 15 to 20% of the savings it measures in the customer's environment. If Lear saves nothing, it costs nothing.
- 13 connector implementations today: AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Google Cloud, Azure, Terraform, Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty, Vercel, Snyk, Gitleaks.
- Lear is pre-launch. Incidents on the site are labeled examples, not customer deployments.
